EXAMINATION SYLLABUS

The COMPULSORY SUBJECTS for PROVINCIAL MANAGEMENT SERVICE at Services & General Administration Department in Punjab are:

1. English Essay(Subjective)

2. English(Precis, essay, comprehension and translation)(Subjective)

3. Urdu (Precis, essay, comprehension and translation)(Subjective)

4. Islamic Studies/Ethics(Subjective & Objective)

5. Pakistan Studies(Subjective & Objective)

6. General Knowledge(Objective)

*The total marks for each subject is 100 marks.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Negative marking is enabled, in objective part of general knowledge paper, 0.25 marks will be subtracted.

2. Non-Muslims candidates either can choose Islamic studies or ethics.

3. Compulsory subjects are necessary for all candidates.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. In every paper 40% marks are essential and 50% marks are essential in aggregate(that is every candidate needs 600 marks to become eligible for the interview) And 50% marks are necessary in the interview to qualify for final merit list.
2. Wrong filled optional subjects in the application form will not be entertained.
3. At the time of submission, alteration in optional subjects will be rejected.

Eligibility Criteria

The detailed test eligibility criteria can be viewed in the newspaper ad image. The candidates are required to fulfil the mentioned criteria for PMS in Services & General Administration Department are as below:

Your age must not be more than 21-30 years and education qualification must be Graduation.

Job Application Procedure

1. Candidate must read all the instructions before applying. Application with incomplete required details or submitted after the announced last date will not be entertained.
2. Submission date of “online application form” is 14-1-2019 at 12:00 AM.
3. The required fee is thousand rupees (1000 rs) and can be submitted in State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government treasury before the submission date.
4. The candidates who live in the outside of Pakistan can deposit the fee at Pakistani Embassy.
5. Each candidate must bring only original CNIC given by NADRA.
